5 FREE Courses to Earn Rs. 35,000+ Side Income | Earn Money Online 💰

Hi guys, welcome back to the channel. Many times, I come across comments on this channel saying that we are studying in college. But we want to know some side income methods to fund our fees or arrange pocket money. However, we don’t have any specific skills as such.

Learning from Successful People

I talked to 5 people around me who are earning at least Rs. 35,000/month with different methods. They not only explained to me about that skill but also recommended some free courses to learn those skills, which you can also learn.

Method 1: Content Writing

Let’s start with the first method, called “Content Writing”. In content writing, there’s a lot to do. You can write for a blog, a website, a magazine, or a news article. There are even many ghostwriters on LinkedIn, meaning those who write posts on behalf of someone else. Similarly, writing YouTube and Instagram descriptions, writing subtitles – all of this is part of content writing.

If you have a good command of English, you can easily earn 35,000 rupees a month in this field. The content writer who works with me on this channel also earns that much because she has multiple clients. So first, you need to learn this skill. Then you need to know how you can onboard clients. And finally, how you can make your content even better.

Recommended Resources for Content Writing

To learn these three skills, I recommend some free resources to you. The first resource is this free YouTube course which has 5 hours of content. They’ve explained everything about content writing in it. With this video, you can learn all the basics.

If you want to do a professional course afterward, there is a course offered by HubSpot. It is called “Content Marketing”. This course will be a total of 9 hours long, and you’ll be able to learn the nitty-gritty that will help you in the field of content writing. I also made a video earlier in which I mentioned in detail how content writing is done in ghostwriting. So, you can also check out that video. I will link it in the description.

Method 2: Virtual Assistant

Another job is that of a virtual assistant. There was a follower on my Instagram who, when I talked to them once, I found out that they provide this service and generate side income from it. So I understood from them what a virtual assistant is. Basically, a virtual assistant handles administrative, technical, and creative tasks and provides these services to someone else. That someone else could be located elsewhere, while the virtual assistant works from home. The communication between them happens through voice notes, video calls, emails, and phone calls, using all these mediums.

Tasks and Earnings

Some of their tasks include managing your day-to-day appointments, organizing your calendar and emails, making travel bookings for you, managing your social media platforms, conducting research for you, or even carrying out any accounting or administrative processes for you. Those who are quite busy and don’t have time to do these tasks prefer virtual assistants. A virtual assistant can also have multiple clients, which allows them to earn a minimum of 35,000/month.

Recommended Resources for Virtual Assistants

For this, I’ll tell you about some resources. First, there’s a YouTube video. This video explains in detail what an executive virtual assistant does. First, you can watch this one-hour video. Then there’s a very good blog post that explains in detail how you can become a virtual assistant in 2024.

If you feel that you don’t understand well in written format and want to take a video course instead, there’s a website called Alison where this course is available. You can pursue it there as well.

Method 3: Selling Your Craft Online

The third method by which people earn online is selling your craft online. Many people offer their products and services online by creating their own store. Let me give you an example of one of my friends. She has a passion for handmade hair accessories. So she started her own Instagram page. Gradually, her reels started to go viral. You know, after some time, one of her clients was a contestant on Big Boss who wore her accessories on the show. And there are some really good photos and videos of that on her channel. So, she started getting more attraction, and orders for that thing started coming in online. She began with an Instagram page and now, as of today, she has her own website – a personal online store where she sells her craft.

Recommended Resources for Selling Online

If you also have a product or service that you can sell, it becomes a good side income option. For this, first, I will recommend you a course by Google called “Building your Online Shop.” This is a 3-hour course, and anyone can pursue it for free. So, I will link it in the description. First, you should learn the basics from this course. After that, to sell your products and services online, you’ll need to create an online store.

For that, I will recommend the eCommerce app by Odoo. This first app is free forever, with unlimited hosting and support. And you also get a free custom domain for one year. The friend I mentioned earlier spent 18,000 rupees to set up her online store, but you can set up your online store for free. For this app, you don’t need any coding or design skills. You can simply use 4 steps with the help of AI to create the base of your own online store. Then you can customize it according to your preferences. You can change descriptions, add images, use different drag-and-drop blocks, there are animations, and many other features available. You can modify it according to your online business.

Now you can add your products to it. Click on “New” and then “Product”. Enter the name and price of your product, and GST will be automatically included, and it is live. Now, if you want to add more details or images to it, you can do that too. There’s also a localized payment gateway option available, such as UPI or Razorpay. So you won’t have any problem receiving payments. By using this app, you can set up your own online business at zero cost. I’ll add a link to this app in the pinned comment and description.

Method 4: LinkedIn and Instagram Micro Creators

The fourth way through which you can earn is by being a LinkedIn and Instagram micro creator. This means that if you can gather 10,000 followers on both platforms, brands start approaching you with deals, or your freelancing services become open. So, through any of these options, you can easily earn 35,000 rupees per month.

Tips for Growing Your Following

Now, you might think getting 10,000 followers is not easy. It is easy if you know which niche you should write content about. There are 3-4 types of niches where payment is very high, but very few people write content about those things. I’ll tell you their names. You can start creating content on whichever one you like. The first is finance, the second is law, the third is health, and the fourth is tech. Within these four, any brand would be willing to pay much more for, let’s say, 1000 impressions compared to if your content revolves around lifestyle or fashion.

Recommended Resources for Micro Creators

So let me recommend you 3 free resources that you can use to understand this whole thing. The first one is a YouTube video. It’s 5 hours long and it covers the entire Instagram strategy, content creation, everything from A to Z on how to grow on Instagram. Similarly, the second resource is also on YouTube. It’s a complete playlist regarding LinkedIn. It explains how to earn through freelancing via LinkedIn. But it covers many segments of this as well, such as how to gain followers by creating content on LinkedIn. Combining these 2 videos, you’ll have around 5-10 hours of content.

Apart from this, if you want to pursue a course, there’s a course by HubSpot available. It’s 4 hours long and it will provide you with a complete strategy for content creation. This doesn’t mean it will only focus on LinkedIn and Instagram. It will tell you how to promote any content you want to.

Method 5: Graphic Designing

The fifth and a great method of earning side income is graphic designing. You must have noticed these days that due to the advent of AI, creating designs has become much simpler. But one thing people forget is that the skill of graphic designers is not just about design, it also involves creativity. That’s why this skill can never become obsolete. Graphic designers need to understand many tools, which have become advanced due to AI today. Now, there’s “design.ai”, Canva has been greatly improved, Midjourney, Firefly, and even Google’s auto drop platform, through which you can generate icons. There have been many changes in it. Keeping track of the continuous updates in all the tools of what changes have come, will become very important for graphic designers.

Recommended Resources for Graphic Designing

If you have no idea about graphic designing, what is color theory? How designs are created? How to use Photoshop? Then first of all, there is a one-hour course on YouTube that you should pursue; it’s absolutely free of cost. Only and only basics will be covered in it. After this, there is a complete 8-hour long YouTube video which is very good and even explained in Hindi. If you watch it, this 8-hour video will cover the entire advanced material of graphic designing. Usually, this much is enough to start with. But still, if you want to do a professional course, then there is a full specialization given on Coursera for graphic design. You come a little down in it. You’ll see many options. Among them,

there will be an option for courses. If you click on it, you’ll see 5 courses which come under this specialization. Click here and then you will be able to access this course for free.

Conclusion

So these are the 5 side income methods as well as their courses through which you can not only upskill yourself but you can also generate good pocket money and a decent side income. I hope this article helped you. Let me know the feedback in the comments. See you next time!
